Bad weather? The importance of the “Plan B”!

“Sposa bagnata, sposa fortunata” is an ancient Italian proverb which means that a wedding celebrated with a bad weather is a lucky wedding: probably a way to “comfort” couples who are afraid of seeing their special day ruined by the rain.

In years of activity, we have learned that it’s better not to trust the weather! That’s why our Tenuta has different locations, indoor and outdoor, to host ceremonies and banquets.

Today we want to share the story of Maria Teresa and Roberto’s wedding, two young spouses who chose our masseria for their special day. Despite the date chosen, on July 30th, the weather seemed to be bad, making it risky to set up an outdoor party.

The party had to be held in an outdoor location, but the bad weather changed all the plans and forced us to switch to plan B, moving the entire set up inside our beautiful “fienile”.

In a few minutes, the staff of Tenuta Pinto moved all the decorations inside: an impeccable teamwork carried out with precision and speed, in order to make everything unique.

In such situations, we realize how important it is to have rooms to host winter weddings or weddings in rainy days. Our beautiful indoor locations are a great plan B that doesn’t hide the beauty of nature surrounding our wonderful Tenuta Pinto!
