From Australia to Apulia for a dream of love

There are weddings that resemble big celebrations and others that live on more intimate emotions. The wedding of Thomas and Claudia, who came from Australia to celebrate their love in Puglia, belongs to the second category: an intimate, essential, deeply genuine wedding.

For Thomas and Claudia, Puglia wasn’t just a destination — it was a calling. At Tenuta Pinto, they experienced everything they were looking for in a wedding far from home, yet close to their hearts.
When they arrived at the masseria, they found exactly what they had imagined: a unique, traditional space, perfect for sharing such an important moment only with their dearest loved ones — just 20 guests, a small and precious circle, like an embrace.

The day of October 1st, 2025 opened with the typical magic of the Apulian autumn. The guests, who had traveled from the other side of the world, were welcomed in the gardens of the masseria, surrounded by the scent of the Mediterranean scrub and the elegant simplicity of the décor.

Every detail was designed to convey warmth: an intimate garden ceremony, flowers in natural tones, an essential yet refined table setting, and the soft sound of the wind through the olive trees as the natural soundtrack of the event.
Among smiles, emotion, and a silence that said everything, they said their “I do” surrounded by the people who truly matter.

For dinner, a long table was set inside the halls of our masseria — intimate, convivial, welcoming. A moment that perfectly reflects the spirit of Puglia and the way celebrations are lived here: not in excess, but in sharing.

Chef Giuseppe Pedone’s cuisine told the story of the region through seasonal dishes and local ingredients. Every flavor was a bridge between Italy and Australia, a way to make the guests feel part of something special.

Thomas and Claudia’s wedding reminds us how intimate weddings in a Apulian masseria hold a unique kind of magic.

For us, a destination wedding is not just an event, but a way to share our Puglia, its traditions, to elevate its landscapes, its flavors, and its charm — a charm that captures hearts at every latitude of the world.
